Ambie’s Album of the Month: Tilt – by Confidence Man

Confidence Man are one of the hottest bands out there right now. The Melbourne-via-Brisbane four-piece are like a portable party, bringing down the dancefloors and making the crowds just want to dance. Within the three short years of their conception, they’ve already played at festivals across the UK, Paris, Barcelona, New York and Australia.

Ringing in the Spring with their colourful brand of house and electro inspired pop, Australia’s Confidence Man make a kaleidoscopic racket that pays homage to Robin S, Tom Tom Club and Ace of Base in equal measure. Doubling down on the 90’s influence first spotted in their 2018 debut, ‘Tilt’ brings classic piano stabs and break beats closer into the mix – whilst never feeling just like an exercise in nostalgia.

Our top 3 songs on the album include: ‘Holiday’, ‘Woman’ and ‘Push it Up’.

Up and Coming: new Artist Look-Out

British-Indian producer Anish Kumar is that rarest of things – a dance artist that simultaneously has one foot in the underground and the other firmly on main stage dancefloors. His new tune ‘Hummingbird’ shows exactly why he’s destined for bigger audiences this year, and naturally will feature heavily in Ambie’s late-night bar and gym playlists in the coming months.

Ambie’s expert team of Curators are always curious and on the prowl in search of the next pop banger or that dusty, long-forgotten B-side. Let our team take your brand’s music brief from sketch to completion and watch your space transform.
